UIFL North Playoff Scenarios

I spoke to someone from the Commandos front office tonight. The North play-off scenario is pretty simple.

Marion hosts Erie next week. If Erie wins, they win the north and the Commandos host Marion on the 16th. Erie hosts the championship on the 23rd.

If Marion wins, they travel to Erie on the 16th and Cincinnati hosts the winner on the 23rd.

Erie'e game if at home will be of necessity at an
outdoor stadium.
The Erie Insurance Arena (formerly The Tulio)
the Explosion's home is undergoing a $45,000,000
redo. It is currently closed to all events and will
remain so until @ sep2012. It should be fully renuevated
by 2013.

I had heard that.....bizarre having an indoor football game outdoors!

I believe Richmond, Va played an intire season outdoors.
If I recall correctly it was last season with the IFL.

The AFL Spokane Shock played a game last year outside at Joe Albi Stadium.
