Hopefully everybody will participate, most rosters are fairly complete(Except Indy). So here are my predictions and outlooks on the teams.
1. Saginaw- This is a no brainer with Tommy Jones coming back, only worry is they have no olineman yet, sure Jones will bring olineman in. Experienced coaching staff that is coming off a championship is hard to ignore also.
2. Port Huron- Have signed some pretty good talent, worried about there Qb. I do believe they have good ownership that wont bail. Seem to have a very good Dline and talented recievers.
3. Dayton- New ownership should be an improvement, Askew I believe has seen his better days. Dline should be tough with Scarborough returning. Very good DBs also with Respress,Vitiero jones,etc.... Still weak on special teams with a poor kicker and Coaching is the main reason i put them at 3, they have more talent than typical dayton team but I think the thing that will hold this team back is the coaching. Makes no since to hire a failed OC as your DC.
4. Evansville- This team I could see easily suprising people and jumping all the way to first in its first year. Dline you have Tucker with NFL experience but nobody else ive heard of on Dline. LBs They need them!!! Dbs better than Dayton but not as much indoor experience. Marshall From East Carolina is the real deal! Wr better than anyone. Rb decent, Oline best ive seen by far. Qb is a huge question Samas has talent but this could put the team at the 1 spot or keep them in fourth. Coaching staff I believe is #1 Head coach will eventually move up from here, rest of the staff has a lot of college experience.

5th-Chicago- Very good QB but questionable everywhere else, plus add in there first 3 games are on the road it could make for a long season.
6th- Indianapolis Last for sure do they even exist?
Overall the talent level and coaching have gone up dramatically from last year. I think for the first time in history of the league the first round playoff games could be competitive. Saginaws only comp for title is Evansville, I know I picked them 4th but the talent they have signed is scary. You just never know if a first year ownership has it together to win it all in there first year. Dayton and Port Huron will be competitive with Saginaw but I dont think they have the overall talent to hang with them. I believe my 2-4 predictions could go either way. If chicago signs some talent to go with there QB they could be interesting

No, no, it hasn't. We don't know that Saginaw or Evansville are better than Cincy and Marion were (in fact, safe bet they're not. Saginaw and Cincy match up well, Marion is well better than the 4-10 Evansville Bluecats six years later). Port Huron this year is about the same talent-wise as Port Huron last year (though a 35-21 score over a semipro squad doesn't help that confidence). I don't see Chicago being any better than they've ever been. Indy's a total unknown, but it doesn't look so great.
This is good, though. If the top talent has moved downward, that'll make sure there's better-quality football.
That said, Saginaw really doesn't have any competition until someone proves they can play on the same field.

It will be a successful season if the Enforcers play the entire season. I think 6th is a guarantee unless someone folds.

I believe last year saginaw and NKY would have beaten cincy hell cincy almost lost to chicago so they couldnt have been that great, Overall all cincy-saginaw is a push. But i believe chic will be slightly better than last year, dayton will be better, port huron will be at least as good and i really believe evansville will be better than marion. I like you still believe Saginaw will dominate but i believe 2-5 is a lot better than last year.

Cincy fell into the Boise State trap of playing down to their competition. When the other team doesn't belong on the same field as you for 8 of 11 games (Marion for three), you have a tendency to daydream.

I agree that Saginaw is the clear number 1, but I think Evansville is the number two. Indoor experience all over the place, with very talented rookies. Dayton 3 as they have a strong defense, and I don't even know what else they've got coming in on offense other than Stanford and Askew. They usually get Cincinnati rejects, so I think that'll give that team a good boost.
I think Chicago will be better than Port Huron because Port Huron could hardly score in their preseason game last night, and they love to run the ball. And I'm not sure if Indy is gonna play or not, but Brett Dietz is living in Indy now, and i heard he has interest in playing some ball again.

How is it a dream? Saginaw and NKY both had better Qbs,Wr,and line.

And Cincy had a far better defense. NKY's defense was garbage if McKenzie wasn't getting to the quarterback, and Saginaw's offense masked a defense that gave up points by the bushel (in a league that, though it was more arena-style than the CIFL, had some pretty poor offenses).
Saginaw will win the CIFL going away because their offense is vastly superior to everyone else's. But their defense, while it may or may not be better...we won't see the flaws in it because the other CIFL teams have such poor offenses (and the rules are more defensively slanted).

Cincy defense never played even a decent offense last year NKY played a lot tougher competition with a lot more offensive rules.

the commandos have lost one game now in their third season (25-1) and they were resting their starters having clinched the 1 seed. Cincy would beat saginaw by 14 last year and by at least that margin this year. I would not be surprised if saginaw was not the 1 seed in this year's cifl playoffs. They haven't proven anything yet as far as this season goes.
