Drop Jersey !!

If the ABA wants to get a little respect back, they shut drop the Jersey team. The people in Long Beach, Vegas and KC are doing a serious effort to make this league work. Here in Tijuana still have work to do but they are also working hard. I don't know much about Fresno and Juarez but a 6 team league will be ok and cut a lot of travel expenses without that nonsense trip to Jersey or wherever the hell they play on the east coast.

It is a bit extreme to state that the franchise should be done away with. Saying such also adds an element of guilt to the players for what has transpired in Jersey. In reallity, there are a lot of young and hungry players in Jersey trying to get a serious look. However, the front office is hampering their efforts.

What should be done is the ABA needs to force all of the current franchisees to pay their players on time (jersey and vegas), provide housing, and all of that other good stuff immediately. Otherwise the franshises should be taken away and controled by the league until a replacement is found. Truth is, a lot of people and/or entities would love to purchase some of those franchises, but the league is not ruling with an iron fist so such transactions are not taking place.

If the league stepped up and took charge this thing would be better than it is now...Which I guess is not saying much....
