San Angelo, last quoted as saying it was still deciding which league they would join, is now displaying the IFL logo on its website. Now called the Stampede Express, it looks as if they've made their choice.
Also, Augusta, GA appears to be in the AIFL for 2006.

Would Augusta happen to be the desired Southern market for the Ghostriders to keep the conferences even?

I was hoping the Riders would find a home in Fayetteville NC. Looks like we will be stuck in the NIFL again this year. Yeah us :(

According to an article in the Johnstown paper today, Huntington is in the AIFL. They didn't mention Augusta, though.

How come Troy isn't listed on the AIFL website anymore?

Their team site is sort of up (showing a green Pittsburg State logo which is trademarked and could get them sued), but they apparently have been taken off the AIFL web site. Don't tell me that they ran out of money already??? Nothing in the Troy Daily News about anything new or ominous.
