I live in Manhattan, KS and I was listening to our sports station and they said they offered a team to Manhattan for the 2006 season. Who are the other teams in this league? I know the St. Paul Saints are one but I don't know who else is. They just said it was a 10 to 12 team league comprised ina northern and southern divisions. Can anybody else help answer some of these questions?

I assume you mean the American Association in your post. St. Paul, Lincoln and the Siouxs are break-aways from the Northern League; the other teams are the remnants of the Central Baseball League.

There are several places to find out more about the new American Association:
AA League site (http://www.americanassociationbaseball.com/) (the official league site)
OSC's AA page (http://www.oursportscentral.com/sports/?l_id=128) (excellent source for latest news)
nlfan.com forums (http://p200.ezboard.com/bnlfanmessageboard) (lots of discussions about how it will work)
aabfan.com (http://www.aabfan.com/) (my new site; currently a links page, but will be growing this winter)
