with christmas right around the corner, i thought that i would purchase some cba stuff for the holidays. i go to the cba web site and click on merchandise, nothing comes up. what is up with that? i then call the cba office to place an order and i get an answering machine. does anyone have any answers for me? Also, i see that b.gates is not in gary. what happened?? i thought that they had a press conference and everything. also, cba web master, your pictures on the cba web page are over three years old. hightower and david bailey on idaho?? how about updating your web site

Bryan Gates was still around Gary during the Steelheads Draft Party, September 19th, because I saw him there. His departure was pretty stealthy though. Nothing was announced. The naming of the new assistant coach, Kelvin Upshaw, also was not announced.

BTW, a new director of operations for the Steelheads (Darryl Lockett) was also introduced at the same press conference the Steelhead coaches were introduced at. This guy was gone even before the draft party. He didn't have any previous front office sports experience...and it showed.

Bryan Gates is no longer with the Steelheads because he recently secured a position with the NBA according to a Steelheads' press release.

I don't know about Kelvin Upshaw's background. Never heard of him before.
