Can't be more weird than my dodgeball idea... :o

I'm still shocked that there has never been an attempt at a pro dodgeball league. (They put out a suprisingly popular videogame for the sport about 12 years ago but never a league.) Weird.

Yeah I noticed it. Any takers on the league yet. I mentioned in the rugby thread that the best shot for rugby are football stadiums during the spring/summer and don't conflict with NFL season.

Pro dodge ball would make it on a channel like Spike TV. (If Slamball can get enough coverage to get the delusion that they are a real sport then dodge ball should be a no-brainer for that channel.)

I have to wonder if you guys make these sites upon any reference to something different.

We're probably extremely bored, too.

Idea sounds Coool to me. I think that it would be great to see true "pro" type players whacking each other with a dodgeball. That could be more fun than indoor football.
Teams all over the country.
Man it's a great concept and it would be affordable to.

Nope, no takers. There'd need to be some test games played to get all the kinks worked out anyways. I'm thinking about the university intermural sports programs about help, but with the current budget crunching in Cali, it's a long shot.

With court football, I think minor league baseball stadiums could work, due to the fact that you can fit the field inside the infield of baseball diamond. It means there would only be a spot of dirt in the middle of field and some dirt in the corners of the end zones, and with most minor league baseball stadiums having seats only to about the ends of the dugouts, the seats won't be particularly far away from the game being played, and extra fold-out bleachers can be put in the outfield for additional seating (hey, if it works for Oregon State, it can work for minor-league football)
