The IFL and SIFL are not the only leagues with problems. Now the on going saga of Port Huron appears to have ended or close anyway

An owner who can write, in some level of seriousness, "Just to clear it, I left the Predators as owner two weeks ago. I need to leave (Michigan) and head to (Las) Vegas for a life of no sleep, smiles, alcohol and just binges, girls and gambling", is exactly the problem with minor pro sports.
No league does enough vetting to eliminate fly-by-night operators like this one, sadly.

Well, since both the SIFL and the CIFL are lookin' unstable, maybe they'll consider merging with the UIFL for the 2012 season (a league that appears to be stable. well, on paper anyway. LOL).
Any thoughts?

The UIFL should just stay away and keep doing what they are doing!

The CIFL would never join the UIFL due to past experiences with one of the UIFL owners. Now I might speculate a few SIFL teams would make the jump.

The Preds owner might have more things to worry about than just running to Las Vegas:

Are there any SIFL northeast owners who are left from the AIFL/AIFA massacre?
This Port Huron owner sounds like a real peach. She may want to stay in Vegas before the peasants break out the torches and pitchforks.

The CIFL wouldn't. That doesn't mean its teams wouldn't (save Dayton; I'd be quite shocked as he started in the AIFL).

I think a Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky rivalry would be awesome!! Both are the creams of the crop in the CIFL & UIFL.

Cream of the crop in the CIFL and UIFL? What?
That is like my 8 year old daughter is the prettiest and skinniest girl in her class.
But, she weights 320 pounds.
