I cant see it taking place. I think we will see a all Canadian league is going to happen.
The IBL has poorly attended games, low/non-existent player salaries, HORRIBLE stat keeping, no live web casts, no live stats. The Canadian media was already critical with the PBL who had NONE of the issues listed above. The media in Canada will shred the Canadian teams for joining the IBL.
For these teams to play in a league at the level the fans and meida in Canada are use to seeing, they would need to form their own league.

A year of transition in the IBL (or ACPBL). It is difficult to create 5 franchises from scratch in 6 months (and which are competitive)...

Frank, I agree. I said it would not be easy to create the Canadian league. My point is, joining IBL or ACPBL would mean they left the PBL for a league 10 times as crappy?
Andre Levingston is quoted on tv and in the papers as saying the following to the fans and media.
"we will be announcing something in May, far greater then anything we have ever been in"
"Dont go on vacation you wont want to miss this press conference"
Media shows up.......Andre and Ian say were joining the semi pro leagues IBL or ACPBL?????
I'm still thinking they will announce the all-canadian league, Andre has hyped this press conference up to much in the media for it to just be a huge let down.
Canadian media will shred this course of action judging by how on top of the PBL they were. IBL and ACPBL are semi-professional at best, at that suits the teams in those leagues just fine. However, it will destroy the professional product that has been built in Canada.
