I have tried to follow the Arizona Adrenaline all season, however I can not stand to watch them get destroyed another week. maybe once they get new management people will return to the games.

I have to watch them one more time... this Friday.
I too hope they can be more competitive in the future.

arizona,
Teams can turn things around. The Ice were 2-12 last year.
Assuming we don't implode the rest of the season, the Ice are doing pretty well this year so far.
roozy,
The Ice seem seem reasonably on par with your team so far though granted we haven't come to Casper yet.
You might blow us out up there, things happen.
Soiux Falls will be competitive when they come to Casper and you can bank on Omaha as well.
Going on the road to Nebraska, they seem to be getting their act together.
I think on the whole, in the big picture, you are going to see more competitive football than you had in the AIFA West.
It was you all blowing out opponents all over the place.
That isn't happening this year for you guys, ya got 2 losses already.
Oh and my Ice are going to have a few losses this year, I wish it weren't true but it probably is.

The Adrenaline was barely able to get on the field this past weekend, and may not have another home game if they are unable to pay the arena what they owe them. Money is running out and fans are not showing up. Not looking good. They are making all sorts of player changes and released two of their better players in Haliburton and Bishop.
If they are able to finish out the season, they will most likely go without a win. Pretty horrible team all the way around!!

Do anyone notice some of the players had different helmets than the rest of the team, like they were using borrowed helmets from the local high school.

In their inaugural sdeason in the AIFA several years ago, they purchased and wore silver helmets. This year they chose to go with blue helmets...but I think some of the players who were released during this year have not returned the blue helmets so the team is short on matching equipment/helmets so they have resorted to using the old ones for the new guys who have joined the team
None of the local high school teams that I am aware of have silver helmets.

If the team is out of money, we will see if they can make it to this weeks away game.

Totally agree that Ice and Cavs are two very equally matched teams. 2 fumbles by the Cavs recovered for TDs by the Ice really seem to be the difference on which team has 2 losses. I do expect to win the game against the Ice here in Casper, especially since we played so close in Loveland. And the CEC is the toughest place to play in indoor football. I don't expect a blowout. The Ice have proven that they are on par with the top 3rd of the league.
We fully expect a tough game against SF as they have been proving themselves week in and out (as the Ice have). We don't expect easy games in the IFL, and we don't want easy games in the IFL. Easy regular season games are the reason we are 0-3 in NIFL/AIFA championship games. And tough competitive games were the peak of our attendance/fan support. The days of 3-11 and 4-10 in the NIFL (no I don't want to see those records again) provided some of the most exciting games for the fans, the toughest games for quality opponents that played here in Casper and our highest average attendance numbers near 4000 per game
We are not counting anybody out. Not Omaha, not Nebraska, not WV, not even Seattle... maybe Arizona, but even they have some potential to beat somebody if taken too lightly.
I am extremely happy to see us finally in the IFL. Even if it means that we have work to do to be on par with the best.
At this point, I think the Ice will probably win the division... even if the Cavs win out, we have to have help from 2 of your other opponents. So if we win in Casper, and say TC beats you twice, we still have to hand it to SF, Omaha-twice, Nebraska, Seattle and WV (assuming we both take out AZ) to win the division. I think that is probably a tall order with this team... although, when they play well, they do play well.
Until May 27th:mrgreen:

roozy,
Fair enough and good post.
I am glad you all are in the IFL, super good team and Wyoming fits right in.
Whether everyone is happy up there about being in the IFL is anybody's guess.
BTW I plan on driving up to Casper for the Ice game, maybe we can meet up.
As far as AZ, what can one say?
That ownership group down there is not exactly making the Prescott area look good. IMO, I have seen better heads on nickel beer.

Sounds good. We are right on the 25 yard line, opposite side of player benches, 1st row down from the R/S portal. Section S, Row 19, Seat 5 (sometimes I sit in 1-4 since my brother and Dad have those seats).
I had every intention of getting to one or both games in Loveland, but plans changed for spring break and I went to Phoenix with my wife and kids & I had state bowling tournament last weekend. This may also be my last year as a Cavalry season ticket holder, we will be moving to Phoenix as soon as a job transfer is available for me. Guess I'll be able to drive to Prescott for a Cav game or two every year (if the Adrenaline last that long).

If you measure the size of the hole they are digging versus the size the hole was at the beginning of the season...well yes, one could define that as progress.
