So I live and work in the Salt Lake Metro Area (1.5 million - Provo-Salt Lake-Ogden).... anyone know what happened to the Snowbears?..... I will guess killed off by the ABA...no fans...little money.
BTW Worked across the street from Salt Lake Community College at Station 17 during last season, we went to play handball and got invited to sit in on the game that night.... just got back there and we were paged out on a fire call.. never got back to see the game.... now wish we had given their success on the court. Hope they got paid for their hard work.
Thanks for any information..... and I too am ashamed that the old ABA name is a laughing stock now in "professional sports".
