Check it out, www.arenafivemanfootballleague.com This one is based out of Texas too.
They have some teams for sale on the website. Claim it's a pro league.
What do you think about five man indoor football?

After spending about a whole 30 seconds looking at the site, I had 3 knee jerk reactions, one good and two bad. First, it's good to see that they require a deposit to be made to cover payroll. A guarantee that the players/staff will get paid is always a good thing. Second, the $5k franchise fee could attract trash "owners" that couldn't even get into the ABA. Third, 5 out of the 8 teams are owned by the league and a 6th, the co-founder and president of the league is their owner, GM and head coach.
It seems like a pretty interesting idea. Hopefully they can attract quality ownership groups to make a go of it.

Think so? Looks like the plan to play on a 50yd field?
what do you think the 5 man team cosists of, other than a qb and a center?

Five man football really isn't that new. It has been played in Italy since the 1980's. The main diference is that in Italy teams play on fields that are 40 yds. long by 30 yds. wide with 5 yd. endzones. The Italian teams also have certain rules about where teams can use running plays and where they can't.

Oh for crying out loud, come up with a new line, people.
Besides, CF's 6-a-side and the field is 30 yards long. :D
But, just to note on here, the Mustangs are using SMU's logo, the Generals are using the NJ Generals logo, and Del Rio is using what appears to be a San Diego State logo.
If it's professional, I see three lawsuits right away.

Just the use of the word arena in the league name will bring down the full brunt of the AFL's lawyers.
