ECHL AND Mississippi (Katrina)

Wonder how bad the Mississippi Coast Coliseum is and is the ECHL Monitoring where the Sea Wolves will move temporarily a la Pensacola and Ivan :?:

From what I have heard and seen the Coliseum suffered some damage to it's roof. It looks a little like three pie-slice shaped chunks are missing. I'm sure it can be fixed but you know that it is low on the list. I really don't think the people in the gulf will be in any shape to attend sporting events for a long time anyway. As far as where the team will go I know Broadbent Arena in Louisville, Kentucky is available. If not there then maybe Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky. The main problem with Rupp is the cost. I think if they do move some of the cities in Florida would make more sense.

Mississippi to voluntarily suspend operations; but return to Biloxi in 2006-07 bigger and better all players free agents but rights will revert to MS next summer
