Whats going on in Dakota?

Its not just that they hired Bliss, but Casey Owens had the best record in the league last season. Now they hire Bliss and say they want to take the team in another direction. What direction is that?

Why have none of the dakota fans commented on this. Did they all move to Sioux Falls with Joerger? And why wasn't Ticknor considered for the job?

Thats great about ticknor, he is certainly better off away from jewel harris and the steelheads mess.

I guess with last years signing of jason williams, the CBA is not only a chance for second opportunities, but it's starting to look like a halfway house rehab center.

To me, it appears that this move was somehow orchestrated with Casey Owens help.

Brian Walsh was an assistant under Bliss at New Mexico, who did not follow him to Waco, but instead worked with the IBL New Mexico Slam, eventually becoming the head coach after the owner folded the team and the league resurrected it 3 days later.

Casey Owens is a graduate of New Mexico State University who was coincidentally director of player personel for the New Mexico Slam.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Owens wind up in NBADL somewhere.
