Just read an article in the ABA website. The Lincoln team's owner was contacted by Christie last week to let him know the AAPBL was still alive and they were going to attempt to go through a 7 team 25 game season. The owner decided to join the ABA instead. Smart move.

Can't believe this guy just won't roll over. This time, if anyone gives him any money, I will not feel sorry for them.

How? Most of the arenas have already canceled any dates reserved by the AAPBL. I don't think any arena would even consider allowing an AAPBL team to play there (except maybe in Nome, Alaska or where no one has every heard of it.)
They might get a junior high gym for an upfront cash payment.

I missed that on the ABA site.

Last I heard Christie had Cliff Levingston calling AAPBL coaches to see if they'd return to help bring the league back to life. The stated plan was to have 6 or 8 teams managed by 2 GMs that Worthless thought were the only ones who had done a good job. They also happened to be the only ones who had been on board for more than a month. I think most of the employees have moved on despite not being able to collect any money.

If Alaska is chosen as a future site for the AAPBL, I think they'll hear about Worthless from more than one person.

This guy has some serious morality issues.
