UIF is about to announce Bloomington IL as #12.

Tennessee Valley is reported to be moving to Rockford IL.

So now that I said #12, I'm starting the deathwatch count on Tupelo. I'm having a hard time imagining them sticking it out with this travel load. Will they find a relocation destination? Will there be a convenient folding partner?

Almost impossibly, Peoria is announcing a new coach. Of course, someone always thwarts my plans for ultimate omniscience.

I read a story about the Bloomington expansion team. In that same story they mentioned how other teams are trying to join the league. Story: http://www.argusleader.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050818/SPORTS/50818003/1002

I have learned to tune out statements from league officials regarding "optimistic" expansion news.

I tune in when ownership candidates actually stick their neck out and state their intentions... but even that goes with a grain of salt.

Besides, I think the surprise of something positive happening is actually a part of the fun.
