I got issues with some calls and decisions that have been made, but your are 100% wrong on this post. If you were had knowledge of the insides and the business profile and the financial flow, you could write with more tuned comments. Dig deeper, then talk.

My guess would be that the Greenville franchise owes the league a significant amount of money. I don't know how anyone can say the league office profited by what happened in Greenville.

A guy walks into a bar with a duck on his head. The bartender says, "Can I help you?" The duck says, "Yeah, you can get this guy off my butt!"
Okay, Greenville people, we know this situation but let me give you advice on how not to get screwed in the minors.
When the first paycheck bounces or doesn't show -- DON"T FRAKKING PLAY ANYMORE UNTIL YOU GET COMPENSATED! Took me a couple times but it has served me well.
It's like what Scotty said in that one Star Trek episode "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me ...
This should be the mantra of indoor football players and staff.

That's true. Why are players continuing to play on IOU's if after 2 games their not getting paid? If guys continue to play without pay then they can't gripe and complain because then it's all their own personal choice and decision to continue.

It's like what Scotty said in that one Star Trek episode "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me ...
That was right before he said, "I can't holder any longer captain, she's beginning to break up."
So James T ask the Doc for an alternative and he replied, "My god Jim, I'm a doctor not a magician!"

Scotty didn't say that in that episode.
Here's another joke that fits the situation
A man walks into a bar and says, "Give me a beer before problems start!" Again, the man orders a beer again saying, "Give me a beer before problems start!" The bartender looks confused. This goes on for a while, and after the fifth beer the bartender is totally confused and asks the man, "When are you going to pay for these beers?" The man answers, "Ah, now the problems start!"

A drunk staggers out of a bar and runs right into two priests. He says, "I'm Jesus Christ." The first priest says, "No, son, you're not." So the drunk says it to the second priest. The second priest says, "No, son, you're not." The drunk says, "Look, I can prove it." He walks back into the bar with the two priests. The bartender takes one look at the drunk and exclaims, "Jesus Christ, you're here again?"

Because for game two the league president TH came to town with the Louisiana team and said the league was taking care and making sure everything would be ok. So with that the players went two more games thinking surely the league preisident would be a man of integrity. Little did they know he was such a teller of tales that even after the season is over he is still praising TW for how well he did in Greenville, while claiming TW was not in charge of any financial decisions of the league owned team.

Gee, Jerry, that kinda describes your NIFL tenure ... ZING!
And FTR, I'm a <consultant>
A man walks into a bar and sits down next to a lady and a dog. The man asks, "Does your dog bite?". The lady answers, "Never!" The man reaches out to pet the dog and the dog bites him. The man says, "I thought you said your dog doesn't bite!" The woman replies, "He doesn't. This isn't my dog."

The system? Daily updates. Player profiles and features. Notebooks. Complete gameday cover. Actually quoting players and coaches. Sticking through the whole season and not going AWOL for a week or two. Stuff like that.
Just quoting you Dan.

Do you really want to start this Jerry?
Start what? Don't you agree less talk and more action good?
I've done my share of talking, sometimes with nothing to back it up with, but I've never been afraid to get in and get my hands dirty, even when it cost me money. I've never sat on the sidelines well and never looked at anything I did as to just collect a paycheck. While with the NIFL I fought internally for change although a pointless effort, even called someone a lier to her face, well on the phone anyway. My record is what it is, can not change that, nor will I ever change. There are those that may not agree with my NIFL record or how I have handled myself in situations during or after the NIFL, but a little late to change any of that.
I have said often I am not a fan of the game so much as a fan of the fan. I have always believed and still do that the fan is too often ignored in decisions that do directly affect them and in many cases deserve better from all the leagues. My fight to try to improve the sport for all involved will never stop even if I take a break from all the madness upon occasion.
So Dan, start what? The battle to make things better started long ago. Nobody questions your abilities, nor your professionalism. You have accepted a position with the UIFL that allows you to maybe make a difference. I don't care about what you may or may not control, only that you try to make a difference.

I may be wrong, if so tell me...I seen where the SIFL 1st and 2nd team members name were on here and G'ville did not have anyone on it....if thats the case and it was said that the head coachs voted on this....THEN I know why no G'ville players were on the list then.....TW was NOT going to voted on the men which stood up for themself after he knew he was doing wrong....that was a done deal...If football is at the Bi-Lo Center next I know it will be money up front for them...
Thats just me!!!

And I wanted to add that if the SIFL want to have a team in G'ville....They may want to look at getting someone in other then TW cause from what i'm hearing the word is getting out about him and none of the players in the upstate or my area want to play for someone like that if that want the league to do well in South carolina.

BTW, CD, love how you are sticking it to Malepig over on arena fan....keep it up.

ahhh, not sticking it to anyone. There's finally a couple of good threads of discussion and as always just trying to keep the truth at the forefront when the butt kissers and homers tell lies.;) A few others have smacked him though.
I even threw out your name for the league Director of Media Services and Public Relations job opening.
Here's the info if you're interested, should I tell Jerry to expect your call?
