MWBL Goes West, Welcomes Branson Showstoppers
The MidWest Basketball League began the formation of its Western Division with the announcement and addition of the Branson Showstoppers. The Showstoppers are owned by Nationwide Sports Entertainment. Nationwide Sports Entertainment is owned and operated by Shaun Ellis.
"We are excited to bring a new form of entertainment to one of the nations top entertainment cities", stated Shaun Ellis. "The businesses in Branson team together to offer packages of tickets to incoming visitors. As a result, we have teamed with these companies to offer the only form of sports entertainment in the city."
"Branson is a great market for our first announced team in our Western Division", MWBL President Chip Rossetti said. "With the other teams that we are going to be announcing, the Showstoppers will b able to have great rivalries in the Division."
"Shaun and his group are committed to the success of the Showstoppers and the MWBL", Rossetti continued. "We couldn't ask for a better group to own this team.
"We are excited to be part of the MWBL" Ellis said. "The decision to join the MWBL was not difficult because of the geographical location of the other teams and the vision of the commissioner. We believe that the newly formed rivalries in the MWBL will become some of the best in all of minor league sports."
Known as the "Live Music Show Capital of the World," Branson, MO, is truly a one-of-a-kind family vacation destination — and an incredible value — with more than 50 live performance theaters, three pristine lakes, 12 championship golf courses, an international award-winning theme park, dozens of attractions and museums, an Historic Downtown district, shopping galore, a full range of dining options, and a host of hotels, motels, resorts, RV parks, campgrounds and meeting and conference facilities.
Branson is less than a day's drive for one-third of Americans, and with low-cost flights to the new Branson Airport, as well as Springfield-Branson National Airport, it's never been easier for your family or group to get to Branson.
You can find out more about the Showstoppers by visiting www.bransonshowstoppers.com (http://www.bransonshowstoppers.com). The site is scheduled to launch on July 23rd, along with the announcement of the teams GM, Head Coach and Home Venue.
