Also heard from a very reliable source.....

Pepe Pearson (1-3) brought in by Centurion Sports to coach the Daytona Hawgs after Bryson (7-3) was fired in late May.

Pepe has yet to be paid by Centurion Sports or Tony Pewonski for coaching and is still owed money as a player of Dayton Warbirds. They aren't returning Pepe's phone calls, emails, Etc...

Poor Pepe's wife has thrown him out of their home because of this.

I CAN'T feel sorry for people who play with snakes and then get bit.

It's one thing to throw hate at CSM... but you really sink low to pile on against the victims.

Every season ticket holder in Daytona consorted with the "snake"

Do you hate them too?

Hate yourself?

Ah, we come to the heart of the matter.

We're nowhere NEAR the heart of the matter, my dear Jamie, despite your attempt to change the subject.

The heart of the matter is that a former Dayton Warbird player is owed over $7,000 and has suffered unnecessary, even to the point his marriage has been jeopardized.

But you, a supporter of mediocre indoor football, instead to launch a personal against an unseen message board poster instead of addressing the issue.

Very interesting.

Dan,

I challenge you and all the other CSM haters to find where I have DEFENDED any of the questionable actions by that organization?

I have always been a supporter of the TEAM, ie the players and coaches on the field trying to put on a good performance.

Thus, I find it pretty crummy for your alter ego, Centurionhater, to be reveling in the misfortune of Pepe Pearson, who no doubt accepted the position of Daytona Head Coach in good faith. He's not the one who fired your hero.

Centurionhater is not my alter ego and I'll gladly accept your apology for that accusation.

We've all been burnt by this organization. I've even corresponded with Pepe via e-mail regarding this issue.

I commend you for your support of the players and coaches, but there is now way you can seperate the team and the ownership.

I ask you, Jaime, do you approve of not paying a deserving person for his services? How can you support an organization that treats people in such a manner as this?

I can and do make that separation. It can be done, even if you say it cannot.

So, you stopped rooting for your Beach Hawgs the minute one payroll was missed?

I ask you, Jaime, do you approve of not paying a deserving person for his services?

Of course not, and it amazes me that ANY players or coaches, Beach Hawgs, Warbirds, Marshals, etc. are willing to play without pay. They do it out of loyalty to the fans, loyalty to their coach and/or teammates, or for personal reasons of their own. So, I should hate them for their dedication? That is what you and centurionhater propose.

How can you support an organization that treats people in such a manner as this?

I do not. I support the players and the game.

Once again, Jaime, you miss the point completely.

No, don't hate anybody for being loyal and dedicated. Hold the people who take advantage of that loyalty and dedication accountable to conduct their business in a professional and responsible manner.

By the way, I did support the Hawg players after I left CSM. Still support the players. Still do.

I await your apology.

Once again, Jaime, you miss the point completely.

As you seem to completely miss mine.

No, don't hate anybody for being loyal and dedicated. Hold the people who take advantage of that loyalty and dedication accountable to conduct their business in a professional and responsible manner.

I don't disagree. So, what are we arguing about?

By the way, I did support the Hawg players after I left CSM. Still support the players. Still do.

How can you separate the team from the organization? You just said I couldn't.

You actually worked for CSM? I do not and never have. Perhaps that is the source of your misconception.

I await your apology.

I'm sorry you don't get it. But I'll not apologize for lumping you and Centurionhater and others, into the same pot of the self righteous who lecture other indoor football fans how they should support their team.

Who is trying to change the subject now? I responded to this thread because I thought Centrionhater was pretty hateful in the way he reveled in Pepe's misfortune.

What are we still arguing about?

Who's getting personal now?

You accused me of being Centurionhater. I'm not.

You are very good at twisting things around, I'll give you that.

I'll just agree to disagree with you and leave it at that. You want to support a team managed by a corrupt organization, it's your perogative.

Let's hope that Pepe and all those burned by CSM get their money back and learned a lesson.

You accused me of being Centurionhater. I'm not.

Maybe I should be apologizing to Centurionhater.

To use some of that colorful beach lingo: lighten up, Dude!

Although it is easy to suspect you of being both persons, I was in fact speaking metaphoricaly. "alter ego" as in two sides of the same coin. meaning you both have a knee jerk reaction of hatred of anything and anyone touched by or associated with CSM.

So, at the beginning of this thread, I attempted to point out, in an amusing way, the absurdity of that position, as that would mean you would have to hate anyone that ever supported the team in any way, including ticket buyers.

You are very good at twisting things around, I'll give you that.

You then, twisted this discussion into an assualt on my character.

I'll just agree to disagree with you and leave it at that. You want to support a team managed by a corrupt organization, it's your perogative.

Yet, you have not pointed out where it is we disagree. As you too have admited to suporting the Hawgs.

AND you have yet to point out WHERE I have ever defended corrupt actions.

Let's hope that Pepe and all those burned by CSM get their money back and learned a lesson.

Hear, hear! I agree heartily. Why aren't you chastising Centurionhater for his mean spirited comments?

So, again, where are we disagreeing? I cannot agree to disagree, if we do not.

How's the weather in Dayton today?

It's hot down in here in Daytona Beach.

We do a pretty good job of pushing each other's buttons, don't we?

Jamie

Yes we do. Maybe its that Dayton/Daytona thing... some sort of sibling rivalry...

So let's say we agree on the following:

1) We both want our respective teams to succeed.
2) We want the players and staff of our teams to get the pay and treatment they deserve.
3) The parent organization of the Dayton Warbirds has a lot of explaining to do when it comes to the misadventures of the Daytona Beach Hawgs, Kissimmee Kreatures, and to a certain extent, the Dayton Warbirds.
4) I am not centurianhater, nor his alter ego.

How's that for a start?

You two make me sick! Are ya'll hugging and holding hands now?

Pepe Pearson isn't a Saint!

He came into Daytona fully aware of the situation, the LARGE piece of crap owner. By taking the Hawgs job he disrespected the game. He even was quoted in the Daytona paper bashing Bryson. Pepe lacks class and deserves what happened to him.

Jaime agreed that CSM needs to be held accountable ... no sense of continuing the argument after that ... some days I get tired of negativity. ... you keep up the good work centurionhater.

Anyone know what Pepe is up to now?

After he took over the 7-3 Daytona Beach Hawgs he took a cheap shot in the local paper at the previous coaches, saying that there was NO real reason for their play calling.

Pepe's four games with his brilliant coaching the Hawgs finished 1-3. I'm glad Pepe's coaching had such good-real reason.

Great Job Pepe! Loser!!!!!

I've heard thru my friends at Tri-Cities that NIFL is no more 'done' than a stuffed turkey in the middle of July. In fact, I hear that turkey is the favorite dish of the NIFL; just don't let any get stuck in your teeth. As for all you Centurion Haters (including the main one) thanks for all the interesting information.

The only points I can provide is:

A) the owner of CSM, Daytona Beach Hawgs, Kissimmee Kreatures, Dayton Warbirds, and half owner of Lakeland Thunderbolts is a less than honest individual

B) the person that oversees the league the above teams were apart of last year has lied to local media about the less than honest owner of above teams

C) A league or group that allows one of there participants to operate in a less than honest way makes the entire league appear less than honest

D) Not all owners in above league are less than honest. Some good owners have pulled their teams out of certain leagues because they wanted to get away from the less than honest league.

E) The gentleman that replaced the original coach of the Daytona Beach Hawgs is a classless moron. Statements he (1-3) made to the local media about the original coach (7-3) were uncalled for. He disrespected the game!

F) I had read posts about Tri-cities stating they might not make it

G) The owner of CSM and the commisioner of the indoor league that's trying to be national are both terrible human beings. I pray god shows no mercy on their souls.

CH, you are right on. CSM & CS have not made paid former and present employees in full. In fact, former employees are lining up to file lawsuits against both. More details to come!
