At least ONE team is alive in the IIHL. Lansing's (http://www.icenuts.com) team has their own website up and running.

It's not as good as mine, but MUCH better than the IIHL's site

It's not much better then the iihl site. With Shaun Peet not coming here anymore you really have to wonder if his team is still alive. (No reports anywhere about them anymore.)

Well BigChris, I'm still reading the message boards...just not enough time to post as before. The Ohio Valley Ice Cats are alive, although things could definitely be better. There have been some league-wide setbacks in the past couple weeks, and there have also been some setbacks just amongst the Ice Nuts, the Ice Cats, and the All-Americans. This I do know; the Detroit team is up and running, and has some unbelievable talent on it. As much as I hate to say it..."give it a few more weeks and we'll know for sure which way it will go."

And by the way....once I know how much money is in the Ice Cats' budget for web design, then I'll know how much time to spend on the website.

We got snotted last weekend so my big concern right now is getting quality players in Athens and keeping them there, and making sure they are taken care of.

If anything could be a sign of Mike's commitment to prevailing, a 4-month lease on 5 units in an apartment complex should be that sign. I'll let everybody know if and when that happens. If not by January 5, that would be a bad thing.

If anybody has any questions, feel free to email me at any time and I'll try to provide the best answer that I know of.

Sorry but this league's grace period is over.

You are living and dying on Killbreath's promices which is ultimately blind faith. You mention a lease but did he actually pay for it? You will find out by January 1st if the bills were ever paid.

This league has not shown one ounce of credibility on or off the ice thus far.

For now, set up a Yahoo! account and use GeoCities - IT'S FREE! I use it for overflow for our site and have another account for my son's pictures to friends and family around the world. It's easy to use and not time consuming.

Please can anybody tell me the address of the lansing website? I'm also interested in informations about Ethan Burnes and Adam Rivers. What about the strength of the IIHL? Can anybody help me?

It is already past X-mas, and the Ice Cats don't know there budget?????
Hmmmm... I also don't understand why everything is soooo secret secret ???? All I know is that the league web site, and the Lansing website look pretty cartoony, nothing to be taken seriously at all.

"give it a few more weeks and we'll know for sure which way it will go."

It's Dec 27th.
Hasn't that been enough time???

It would be awsome to see this thing go, but it's Dec 27th.

Enough Said.

I think it is safe to say that the iihl is a failed venture. Arrogance and incompetance can be blamed for this. Constant secrecy, thumbing their collective noses up at paying fans and nothing but whitewash b.s. are all things NOT to do when forming a new league. (Especially one that holds "monumental" press conferences dispite being "a-level".)

The iihl is now officially a joke and not a funny one either.

The link's on the 1st post. www.icenuts.com

It's 5-on-5 with no red line and no OT (shootout decides tie). It's a 44-game schedule and 15-minute periods. Teams are limited to 6 "foreigners", the rest are US-born. The teams are Lansing, Saute St. Marie, Detroit, Harbor Springs (MI), Huntington (WV) and Athens (OH).
