From the CBA - the former Yakima Sun Kings were purchased by the members of the Yakama Nation Tribal Council, and will remain in their current location, but will now be known as the Yakama Sun Kings.
Much congratulations and thanks to the members of the Yakama Indian Nation for supporting minor league basketball and keeping the team in the Pacific Northwest.
More information on the Sun Kings' website, http://www.yakimasunkings.com.

The Yakama Nation stepped up and saved the Sun Kings for Yakima when a buyer agreed to purchase the team, then a month later backed out. Hopefully the CBA will place more teams in the Nortwest as the travel costs are what did in the previous owners.

Found in August 20 Oregonian via AP... but not in the online edition:
The Yakima Sun Kings of the Continental Basketball Association will remain in business for at least one more season, newly elected Yakama Nation Officials have decided.
Tribal leaders who were elected after a series of recall votes this month said Thursday the Yakamas would lose nearly $500,000 if they backed out of a deal by the previous leadership to buy the franchise...
Basically, the tribe is going to work with this for one year, then see what the shebang is worth.
This does not look good past this year for Yakima... and by geographic association, Idaho.
