I decided to start writing a third AFL article each week at Elite Kickoff. The season is well underway now, and there are a lot of things to discuss. This week's article focuses on Cleveland's tough start and whether or not they can bounce back and make some noise in the playoff picture. I'll leave a little preview below, but if you want to read the entire article, click the link below. Thanks for the support!

Are the Gladiators Still a Playoff Team?
Before the 2010 AFL season began, a lot of people thought the Cleveland Gladiators were serious contenders to win this year’s ArenaBowl. After a 1-3 start, however, there seem to be more question marks than answers. Cleveland’s first two losses were heartbreaking, and they could have gone either way. The Gladiators then traveled to Oklahoma City and suffered a very disappointing loss. After a bye in week four, the team traveled to Spokane and were on the edge of starting 0-4. The Shock scored the go-ahead-touchdown with very little time remaining, but Cleveland receiver Brent Holmes returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown to seal the team’s first win of the year. The victory got the team out of the league cellar, but can the Gladiators still make the playoffs? Keep reading to find out.
Quarterback John Dutton is one of the most recognizable players in the AFL, but he has had his fair share of ups-and-downs this season. Dutton has thrown for 1,260 yards and 26 touchdowns, both among the league best. However, the down side is the fact he leads the league in interceptions thrown with 10. The veteran quarterback has made numerous poor decisions so far this season, and while he has been better the last two games than he was the first two, this is still an area of concern for the team. If Cleveland plans on making a playoff run, Dutton will have to be at his best for the remainder of the season.
