I've been checking out this site for a little while and have discovered there's not much respect for the ABA.

Recently Buffalo has signed on and will give it a whirl with the "Rapids". I traditionally root for Buffalo teams and was wondering if ther was any chance the NBA and it's collective bargain agreement intend on sending any youngsters to this ABA league.-- i can't find anything from my brief searches on the matter-- I think it would be outstanding if the Raptors would use Buffalo as a farm club considering it's location and familiarity the citizens have with the other.

I'd appreciate any info on the NBA agreement with minor leagues. Thanks.

The only "official" minor league affiliation the NBA has is the NBDL. If Stern expands the NBDL, maybe you will get a chance to have a team; otherwise, it will be a team of players hoping to get a shot to play in the NBA.

Also, keep in mind that there were no ABA-to-NBA callups last season, so that is another hurdle to overcome.

Well, didn't the Italian pro basketball league call up a couple of ABA players last season? That must count for something. :?
