IBL Expansion

The IBL websites states that an expansion annoucement will be made on August 15th. Anyone have any ideas of where those cities might be?
I heard rumors that they might be adding several (5-10) more teams for the 2006 season. The cities that are possibly being targeted are in the NW and MidWestern parts of the US.

Just hope the IBL is very selective when they select potential owners and learn from the many mistakes made by the ABA.

Looks like the 1st season was very successful. If they can continue this success with a lot more teams, I think it's a league the minor leagues better watch out for.

The mistake of the ABA isn't in their screening process for owners - they don't have one. The mistake is that Joe seems to be in it for the $10K checks he gets from 'owners' - doesn't seem like Joe cares one way or the other how many teams or how solvent they are, as long as the check doesn't bounce.

Whether the IBL is the same, who knows? The seem to be a bit more honest, but who can say.
