Since the NHL is back for next season, does this mean any far-flung chance of the WHA getting off the ground is dead?

I saw an ad in The Hockey News for tryouts for something called the WHA Super Junior Hockey League. It said it was open to players from 16 to 23 I believe. How come I've never heard anything about this? Where are the franchises supposed to be? When is it supposed to get under way?

It already looks like the WHA is dead because the league is having a hard time trying to get started.
