SE Texas admits ABA is a Joke...soon to leave ABA

Does this change the awards? Tucker plays both sides of the fence pretty good with Joe. Although in my opinion Tucker belongs in the ABA with the mavericks. Cant wait to see the basketball court next year on the rodeo grounds with a tent over it.

So much for the ABA champs that played a pick up team 14 times and went to the finals because the other team they were suppose to play couldnt pay for travel and never showed. I thought Tucker was starting his own league... the difference being that SETX would clean house all season *and* win the playoffs, I suppose... :)

They are in for the $200 million investment in the ABA from the ABA International initiative.

Judging from regular season and playoff attendance in a "championship season" I don't believe there is enough interest in the Mavericks to survive in Southeast Texas. Print coverage in 2009-10 was virtually non-existent and it's doubtful that next season even the most gung-ho television guys will lug their gear to a rodeo arena 20 miles from Beaumont and 30 miles from Port Arthur. Perhaps they should consider a fresh start in Tampa.
