Looks like the next home game for Columbus (4/17) will be against the North Georgia Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs are a minor league OUTDOOR team from Calhoun. The don't start their regular season until June.

I doubt I'll make the trip for this game, but let's hope the Lions front office offers heavy discounts for tickets. In no way should they charge full price for this game.

OK, their website shows them as a minor league outdoor team, but now they are a part of the RIFL, so they play indoors... I'm confused... who are these guys coming to Columbus this weekend???

BTW, where can someone play indoor football in Calhoun Georgia?
Maybe in the foodcourt of the Calhoun Outlet Mall? :-)

Greg, this team has Indoor football Veterans on it from the Rome Renegades, Augusta Colts/Mavericks, and players that were with Columbus in the past.

That's good to hear. I was concerned that this was an outdoor team that was not used to the 50 yard game. Sounds like it may be a good, competitive game.

The game wasn't as bad as you might think. N GA had some really good athletes several of whom were on the Augusta squad which just broke up. One reciever in particular was VERY good. And, when you think about it the margin of victory was only 25 points more than the one against the Buc's. And, the Bucs just beat the Force. So, they aren't too shabby when you take all in context
