1) You STOLE that logo from the La Crosse River Rats of the Indoor Football League. Here's their logo:

2) If semi-pro basketball is anything like semi-pro football, you shouldn't be posting GPBL crap on this site. If your players aren't paid, the information shouldn't be here. Go take your scam of an organization somewhere else.

Another team in this league, the Springfield Desperado, has a stolen logo as well. You can judge for yourself below. The only other team announced so far, the Southwest Oklahoma Lightning, has a logo, but is so freakin' ugly that it couldn't have been stolen.
Mass Mutiny of the NWFL (original logo):

Springfield Desperado of the GPBL (stolen logo):

 I guess the GPBL isn't off to a good start.

I wonder if the owners of the former teams (LaCrosse, etc.) spent the $75 and had their logos copyrighted? Usually if they're done by a logo company, they take care of that as part of the cost of design.
On the other hand, they owner of a defunct team probably doesn't care a lot of someone is using the logo.
Either way... stealing is bad. At least according to my mom. :-)

I love how after I made my initial post, the Springfield Desperado (or so Desperate for a Logo that we'll steal one!) changed their image link from:
http://www.springfielddesperado.com/images/logo.jpg
to this:
http://www.springfielddesperado.com/images/Desperadologo.jpg
And after this post, I fully expect it to change again.

What is this league anyways? Looks like a semi-pro league. Theres only 3 teams in the GPBL with really cheap looking logos. Looks like the riverrats team is selling tickets though.
