Rumors are that Tony Pewonski's Centurion Sports Management (CSM) will be moving their Hawgs franchise to Cleveland, OH.

I am not attempting to slander CSM, Pewonski, or the NIFL. All I want is for any Cleveland, OH press and possible sponsors to research their past business practices. The truth will slander themselves.

CSM is forced to move the Hawgs out of Daytona Beach because of the mismanagement, unethical business practices, and the lack of professionalism. The venue and local business men basically threw them out of town.

Cleveland look into this seasons history of the Daytona Beach Hawgs, Kissimmee Kreatures, Daytona Warbirds, and Lakeland Thunderbolts, which CSM only owns 50% of Lakeland. In Daytona, Kissimmee, & Dayton have reports of total lack of values; not paying players, coaches, vendors, venues and writting bad checks. Lakeland has not reported any true negative mismanagement, however CSM doesn't handle the management of Lakeland.

Also get your money UPFRONT anytime you deal with Tony Pewonski or CSM.

Don't believe anything coming out of NIFL or their president.

"Don't believe anything coming out of NIFL or their president."

Well, at least you weren't trying to slander anyone. :-)

What's the point of addressing a note to the Cleveland powers that be on this board? I read it, but do they?

That's the last thing Cleveland needs.

My question is: how does this company stay in business?

Old Fat Guy,

Yes the sentence appears to be slanderous. However when you tell the truth it is not sladerous. The Orlando Sentinel had a quote on the entire Kreatures fiasco that the players & venue would be handled by the end of the week. Three weeks later when the Kreatures came to Daytona to play the players nearly went on strike because they had not been paid in over a month.

The league president lied. She's a liar!

Minnfan,

It's called a message board. Lighten up!

Turn that frown upside down.

It's ok to be you!

What Cleveland needs is an AFL team!

What about the old Richfield (or Richland or whatevert it was called) Coliseum, where the Cavs used to play?
Somebody might want to warn them.

That was taken down long ago. Bunch of trees now... maybe a park, but don't quote me on that one. So the Force fans say, anyway...

BTW, if you believe (in an outright, immediate manner) anything that Bud Selig, Paul Tagliabue, David Stern, Gary Bettman, or Don Garber tell you, you're just as much of an idiot. "Due diligence" should be on your mantra card in any case. The big guys are more likely to be right, but always remember that the best lies are 80% truth. By NO means does this mean Carolyn Shiver earns a sliver of trust, just saying...

The legacy of Art Modell now has a challenger.

At least Modell could pay his bills.
