There has been a lot of talk over the past few weeks about trying to compare the IFL to the AFL. The IFL and their fans need to stop worrying about the AFL and try to focus on being above the other indoor leagues. The direction the IFL is moving is starting to resemble the NIFL, in their later years.

As of now, the AIFA, SIFL and CIFL all have better websites than the IFL. They all do a better job of keeping stats and updating the site. The IFL site resembles a free "eteamz site.

The AIFA may be the best indoor league going right now. Former NFL QB Omar Jacobs; taking over the Alaska area, as well as the western indoor market.

The SIFL has signed former NFL player Woody Dantzler, does a better job on their website and has the LA Swashbucklers. They have the southern indoor market.

The CIFL also has a better website; but is clearly the 4th best indoor league; but they seem to be ok with that.

As of now it's pretty close between the AIFA and the IFL for the top quality indoor league. At this point the edge may go to the AIFA.

IFL fans and owners need to focus on trying to catch up and stay with the other indoor leagues.

Having a good web presence is important, but your post seems like you're putting a little too much weight on the whole league website thing. Good football should be priority #1. A flashy website is useless if you have crap football being played.

[DISCLAIMER TO KEEP AFL SLAPPYS HAPPY] I'm not comparing the IFL quality of play to other leagues, nor am I saying IFL has the highest quality of play. I can't judge that, I've only seen one IFL game. [/DISCLAIMER TO KEEP AFL SLAPPYS HAPPY]

There's nothing a fan can do but root for his or her team, and consequentially the appropriate league.

AIFA and Former NFL QB Omar Jacobs... Who?
SIFL and former NFL player Woody Dantzler... who played, what a year in Dallas?

yet you forget Tri-Cities signed former Dallas Cowboy Tyson Thompson.
you forget the former Sioux Falls Storm kicker Parker Douglass kicked in California in the UFL this past season, you forget Fred Jackson.

Let's also not forget that the AFL 2.0 hasn't played a down, and it's yet to be determined if they're the clevland browns or the baltimore ravens after 1995.

The problem with the IFL, is that the commissioner is nothing more than an overpaid salesman who knows very little about how to maintain a professional football orginazation.

You'll get zero arguement about the IFL's joke of an internet presence. I've seen junior high school projects more frequently updated, and less tacky.

First and foremost the website is the face of the league. If it looks bush league, the fans won't come.

The AIFA has every bit as much talent as the IFL, with a better website.

fans have come to UIF and IFL games with this same crappy website for 6 years now. I think the individual teams have more influence over fan attendance than the league does

Team website? Possibly. League website? No way.
