I was in Springfield today and I got a chance to go on the SMS campus and do a little looking around. There is, believe it or not a building on campus that would be big enough for indoor football.

Springfield would be a great addition to the APFL. It would fit right into their scheme of obtaining "new" locations for 2006.
All it would need is the field and dasherboards. Everything else is there.

What do you think?

The state would be Missouri. It is a nice facility, plenty of room. The people in Springfield would welcome professional indoor football.

Groundskeeper Willie needs to be informed of this new team ASAP coming to Springsfield because he'll have split duties cleaning Bart's school and prepping the arena for indoor football.

As long as games aren't scheduled on nights that MacGyver is on TV, Patty and Selma will be at the games. Those two will be hitting on the players in the after-game autograph session.

Everyone can meet over at Moe's after each home game. Maybe they'll be some cough syrup and alcoholic drink the bartender lights on fire that will on sale on game days.

I think we marketing genuses have this thing pretty well down. Now all we need is someone with the money to start the team.
