MLS Lockout

Please give us the update on a possible MLS Lockout if the players union and league do not come to terms on a collective bargining agreement as of January 31st. This is bad news for professional soccer and the sports world in this bad economy. It is dumb and may lead to the dissolution of a few clubs. I can not imagine the owners of the new Philadelphia Union are behind this. Look at the trouble that arena football is now having in trying to relaunch their sport after not playing a season. Latest I've seen is reports that the Players Association has advised their members to report to camp. There are tweets and indications (who'd have thunk I'd ever use THAT term?) that the sides will come to an agreement... they may let it stretch out to March, but it sounds like we'll be playing a full slate this year.
