WHY NO RAZORSHARKS?

"We are fortunate to have a real student of basketball in Steve Tucker, Head Coach of the SETX Mavericks"
The same Steve Tucker who does the ABA Power Rankings...
...where the SETX Mavericks are #1?
As to your question, the Razorsharks were a mean-spirited team that didn't deserve to have any representation on the all-decade team, of course... :)
And isn't it amazing that a league with no standings, no statistics, and no accurate history can have an all-decade team??? :)

Um. Benson Callier never played for the ABA Frost Heaves. So you have one guy on the ABA All-Decade team who only played in the PBL.
I'm glad this has no real meaning or I'd be wondering why nobody on the Phantoms(5-0) made it.

No Anthony Anderson?
Earn an MVP award for both the All Star Game and for the 2008 season and not be named one of the players of the decade?
Joe also needs to check his spelling. It's "Voigt" not "Voight".

I though you were a basketball man...guess you became a Joe Puppet. Too Bad. You should not have gone this way, your credibility took a big hit.
Instead of listening to Joe of who to put in and who to keep off your list ..why dont you tell Joe how you and your owner are going to take 4 ABA teams and start your own league..the ABL next season?
Better yet.. instead of putting a list together, take 2 minutes and call the NBA and let them tell you that there is NO ABA, and hasnt been one since 2004.
Now you are in Joe's club...in my opinion..the club of con men

That's pretty hilarious.
Dennis Rodman on there is pretty funny, too. He only played a few games to the best of my knowledge.
Didn't Paul Shirley play in the ABA? He's no great but he at least played in the NBA.

ABA All-Decade Team ... O'Pleease ... Get a grip.
What? The ABA CEO can't put together a list of his own.
Why of course he can't.
He doesn't even know the names of the players who have played in HIS own league since inception.
And to think any one player who has gone on to play at a higher level ...
It had nothing to do with competing in the ABA.
Dennis Rodman on the list? Tells us alot about the CEO of the ABA and how he respects "the game of basketball."
It's too bad we can't abolish this league forever. But unfort, they are not a recognized nor affiliated basketball association in "the big picture of things", soooo, we have to deal with this rogue existence of a rec league.

Here’s the start the player profiles pulled from my database and the web. I’ve included the best available stats. Considering the lack of ABA stats, it may be hard to say who does and doesn’t belong on the list. It does seem somewhat skewed to the most recent seasons when you consider the first three years of the league had many former & soon to be NBA players. Also, some players (Yue & Moon) had marginally successful ABA careers but made a name for themselves elsewhere, while others (Selvy, Reid & McGinnis) had equal to or better than seasons for other ABA teams than the one for which they were selected.

Yes Paul Shirley played in the ABA. He writes about it in his book called "Can I keep my jersey" this was when the league had J Clark in it and was respectable.
My own all decade team is as follows...............
5/ Mother Williams - Joe Newman told her on one morning that her team had to travel to Wilmington for a Sunday game, insinuating that if they didn’t, a victory would be awarded to Wilmington. When poor Mother Williams balked at the cost, Newman said he would take care of all expenses, and would pay the standard 25 percent of the gate to the visiting team. Poor Mother was then stranded at an airport for a couple of days with her team.
4/Kevin Mitchell. Kevin owned the Rio Grande Silverados and moved them from the ABA to the CBA. The move came as a surprise to the ABA, Vice President of Team Operations Brad Hester said he learned about the Silverados’ defection when he read about it Tuesday night on our sports central message board. It was a good thing Hester caught the transaction as he was in the midst of making the ABA’s 2007-08 season schedule. The schedule that Joe never finished.
3/ John Wannamaker - Columbia Rottweilers owner John Wannamaker "failed to pay the required $20,000 and meet certain ABA requirements that distinguish it from the National Basketball Association" Newman said. (I LOVE WHEN A QUOTE ENDS WITH NEWMAN SAID) Joe then repeatedly made attempts to reach Wannamaker only to find the Rottweilers' phone is disconnected as are the phones of some of Wannamaker's other businesses, including JW Investments and Shut Up Records.Wannamaker's home phone in Columbia is also disconnected and e-mails sent to various accounts received no reply or were returned to sender.
2/ Al Howell.- Basketballs weren't the only thing that was bouncing in Canada. Both the Calgary Drillers and Niagra DareDevils folded amoungst much hub-bub. Matt Scobel said he believes the Daredevils had about $80,000 in unpaid bills floating around the city, including $40,000 at the Howard Johnson Hotel in St. Catharines.
1/ Denise Pulphus - I cannot do it any better justice than this http://www.oursportscentral.com/boards/showthread.php?t=2600

And speaking of Boris "Sir Cameroon" Siakam... He's still wrecking rims - now in Bahrain.
Isa Town, Al Najma post upset wins - Dec 15, 2009 (by Patrick Salomon)
ISA TOWN and Al Najma registered upset victories Monday night in the Zain Bahrain Basketball League.
Isa Town used a strong second quarter to build a big lead against Sitra and held on late in the game for a 60-57 win. Najma, meanwhile, stunned heavily favoured Al Hala 78-75 in one of the most surprising results so far this season.
Isa Town turned a 16-21 deficit at the end of the first quarter to a comfortable 40-29 advantage heading into half-time.
Led by the trio of Cameroonian Boris Siakam and Bahraini talents Ahmed Janahi and Ahmed Qaheri, they battled to stay in the lead as Sitra mounted a furious comeback in the second half.
Sitra got to within 46-52 with a quarter remaining, and in the fourth, Moroccan import Mohammed Idrissi and local standout Mohammed Quwayed helped them tie the proceedings at 56-apiece with under two minutes left.
Sitra, however, committed a few careless turnovers and missed baskets they should have made down the stretch. Even former national team guard Younes Quwayed missed one of two free-throws that would have put Sitra in better position to win.
On the other end, Siakam and Qaheri each made pressure-packed charities to seal the game. Siakam led Isa Town with 17 points, while Janahi had 15. Idrissi led all scorers with 22.
Isa Town improved to a 5-4 win-loss record and are now closest to the semi-finals they have come in recent years. Were not thinking about the final four; were just taking it one game at a time and playing hard, head coach Jaffar Rashed told Gulf Daily News (gulf-daily-news.com).
