The Cavs played very sloppy basketball in the first half. The Millrats played hard and had a couple chances to pull within 4, but their 3-pointers wouldn't go in. The Cavs kept getting to the hoop late and drawing fouls. The free throws were really the difference.

Shaun Fountain was the best Cav player today and hit many key shots in the second half.

The attendance looked to be the smallest so far. Probably about 800. I don't think playing games while the NFL playoffs are on TV is the ideal time...

You're probably right. However, the NFL has playoffs around these dates and times every year. This is known in advance.

And the other problem is that if you want to play ball in January-February you either have to go head to head with televised NFL playoff games or you need to play Monday-Thursday. I'd take my chances going up against the NFL before I take my chances on a Wednesday night.
You can't avoid facing televised competition, the best you can do is avoid going up against the very worst competition like the superbowl.

He was with the Alley Cats, I remember him being a thorn in our side because he was so good, before he joined the Xplosion because we hired Carlos Knox as our head coach(joining us after Indiana went hiatus at the time). Fountain was so good and helped us so much, before he disappeared. I think he was with us for about half of the season, maybe more.
But I'm glad to see the Cavalry have him. I hope he stays with them.

Now that I think about it, I'm wondering if he left because of no payment. I used to wonder if he joined the other Xplosion players who left to play overseas.

The CAVS were shaky yesterday but came away with a win. Firday night they totally dominated an overmatched Maryland team. I agree with the attendance being small. Hope as the season continues and we are doing well the fans will come out and support. I am a season ticket holder so I know that I will be there to go "CAVS Crazy"

We are glad to have him on the team. He is a good floor leader and runs the so-called 2nd team while they are out on the court.
