Just wondering what shape the UFL will take in 2010. I enjoyed the season and think there will definitely be a bigger better league next year. I think San Antonio and Salt Lake City get teams, but the Sentinels will probably move to Hartford permanently.

Hopefully the league will announce any new teams sooner rather than later and step up operations in league cities much sooner than it did last year.

Prediction?

Utah team announces signing of BYU qb Max Hall and home games will be played at the University of Utah.

Team leads UFL in attendance becuase an additional 5,000 Ute fans show up each game just to boo him ...

I was pretty skeptical, but it seems their season turned out decent. Obviously, not profitable, with no butts in the seats, but the fact that I could watch the Versus broadcasts online was great. Plus, lots of players getting signed on to NFL squads truly makes this league the closest thing to a minor league the NFL will ever get.

I think Birmingham, AL would be a good market. Utah would support a team that doesn't play on Sunday's. Omaha or Lincoln, NE would be interesting markets to try as well.

Hopefully, the league gets to at least 8 teams and plays 10 games.

They will TRY to get Mike Leach as a coach. That's funny.

In two years, Craig James will buy his son's way to the UFL so he can claim his son played pro ball. That is, IF the UFL is still around.
