have the skyhawks been bought my new management?
i heard this from an employee of the skyhawks.
he said the team was boguht and will either stay the skyhawks in the can am league.
or become a single a team with a new name.

Don't look for this team to move into affiliated ball anytime soon. The process is complicated, and the only options would be the NYPL or the SAL. Neither is likely.

Norwich (CT) Bulletin says the City Council is meeting Monday night to consider a NY-Penn League proposal to put an unidentified team in Norwich.

An article in the Norwich Bulletin today suggests that it might be the Vermont Lake Monsters moving to Norwich.

The newspaper indicates that the City has accepted the NPL proposal.

So it is safe to assume that that Vermont Lake Monsters will be moving and playing in Norwich, CT for the 2010 season?

Don't rule out the Oneonta Tigers being in the mix of teams that could be relocating to Norwich. Rumor has it that the current owner may be willing to sell.
