Its starting....

Some ABA teams have learned that there is NO agreement with the NBA to use the ABA trademark and are starting the ABL.

The usual, teams not making games and no players being paid has started.

Joe misses another deposition.

The trial Starts Jan 11, 2010 for damages. Just a reminder for Joe , who reads this daily.

The 200 million dollar global expansion is smoke and mirrors.....just ask any invesment banker .....when they stop laughing they will explain. PLUS...if Joe really had an Agreement to use the ABA trademark...the old agreement said....you CANT use the ABA trademark outside the USA.

Owners may soon be notified that they are violating the NBA trademarked ABA.....

It is like you say to the Battle Creek people. Move on A1. Just wondering how much money did you get for the China deal? Perhaps you may be the only one that got something, cause you are the league. Neither one of these leagues has integrity. For that reason, both of these leagues will fail, and are doing so.

A1 is not the PBL.

IIRC, the words I used a few years ago were that the ABA was (and is) really "a carefully concealed series of exhibitions." If the owners are finally coming around to this conclusion, that's good...

...but way too late.

A1 is not the PBL.

He is, however, a PB&J.

At least mentally.

A1 all you need do is go back to "Around the ABA with Robbie Kendall". Joe specifically says that the ABA doesn't need any "deal" with the NBA. He only did it to avoid a fight and he (and Dick) own the name.

PM and I will send you the link.

I'm just saying that you keep pointing to something that Joe has already conceaded as a moot point (IN JOES OPINION). I don't like this half-a55ed league any more than you but Joe has basically acknowledged this publically.
