I would like to wish the Hawg players good luck in their game at NC. As of Thursday they are still weeks behind in pay, the new head coach has yet to attend a practice(Centurion Sports Management is not buying his plane tickets like they agreed to), and these ball players are coaching themselves and running their own practices.
The players motto is "Make him pay"
They want to win and get homefield advantage in the playoffs so CSM would have to pay for the home games.
They fired they coaching staff after the last home game. The Hawgs were 7-3 and in the hunt for first place. CSM wanted to put obsticles up trying to break this team up so they would win and would have less chance to host a home game.
ABout the two releases from CSM about the mascot...you guys are idiots. And you continue to suprise with your idiotic actions. It's certainly has became a circus.

It doesnt matter actually, because CSM will just sell the playoff game to another team in the conference who can actually draw fans for the tune of $10,000. It is in the NIFL rules to do so, and CSM will actually make more money that way by not hosting the playoff game, since the home team in the playoffs has to pay for a bunch of the visiting teams expenses.

With the AIFL coming next year the odds of them NOT selling the playoff game are about ZERO. If they do no care about the team before then why start. Think anyone will be left not paid after the season?

You are right they probably will sale the game. That will still make CSM look bad. It will bring credibility to the new AIFL with a local owner.
Just say everyone knows Daytona pulls a good crowd. They averaged almost 3000 to a game with no advertising.
Seven home games
1 - Thursday Night
2 - Saturday Nights
1 - Sunday Afternoon
3 - Monday Nights
The only advertising the Hawgs ever got was when main sponsor paid for it. Who now is the owner of the new AIFL team.
CSM would complain because the local paper would give so much press to the local minor league baseball team. That baseball teams spends a lot of advertising money with the local paper. It just seems CSM doesn't get it.
Sorry for venting yet again!
Hey Centurionhater.. If you've gotta vent.. You gotta vent.. lol
I certainly don't blame you for being ticked..
You look at all the indoor football teams that have come and gone in the last 7 or so years in what... 9 different leagues??
I guess the most positive thing we can say is.. It's not the ABA...
But they keep throwing new teams at us and we keep plunking down that almight dollar to support our team.. Oops.. I'm in Wichita.. Better make that teams.. Warlords, Stealth, Aviators...
But you know.. As long as I have a team in any league..
It's better than no team..
Even my beloved Kansas City Chiefs after packing Arrowhead stadium with over 78,000 fans for years and years and years... Are wanting upgrades and improvements.. With the threat that they could go..
You take care man.
