I have heard that there is a press conference scheduled at 1400 tomorrow to announce that the Tampa Bay Storm will be joining AF1 for the 2010 season.

There are apparently 16 cities across the US that are
going to try to get this AF1 thing to work for 2010.
IFL & AF1 will market themselves as the premier arena
or indoor leagues in the country. The remaining leagues,
AIFA, CIFL, & SIFL are rumored to be realigning for 2011,
to become support leagues for the 2 mentioned above.

IFL is still a minor league to the AF1.

Not to argue, but the IFL has demonstrated themselves to be more stable than the new AF1 which in my book would put them above the AF1 in the pecking order. Even though the Af1 may have established teams, still has to prove stability. This isn't about which brand of football is preferred, but about a start up league vs an established one, nothing more.

That is exactly why the CIFL, AIFA, & SIFL are in a wait-n-see right now.
Tryna see which league establishes itself, first. The rumor is those 3 league's
will align themselves with the league that stands at the head of the class..
IMO I think AF1 is a crap shoot right now, while the IFL looks pretty stable.

What do any of the last posts have to do with this thread? This was not intended to be a discussion on what league is lining up with what league. The Storm are possibly coming back. One of the premier teams of the defunct AFL will possibly be back and the War on I-4 will continue. There are many of the former Storm players that I am anxious to see if they come back. If you want to discuss the other subject- start your own thread!

I am just stating, that if you truly want to see the Storm survive
with the rest of AF1, then they need to get moving and get established.
All the other comments are relevent to this subject, guys. I too, would be
glad to see the I-4 battle be back in full force. It was great for the indoor
game. Just want to be sure all that are involved, have their ducks in a row...

With the "successful" owners of AFL teams joining AF1, clearly this league will be at the top tier of arena/indoor football. The IFL is the best indoor league, but will still be a minor league to the AF1. No arguement.
