Does anyone know if the new golden league has maintained the same high quality of medical support and grounds keepers that the former Western Baseball League did ?...I know that this makes a real difference to the players and the scouts/agents when they look to evaluate the level of the league play....why doesn't the new league utalize a DH?...who's call was that?.....is it true that the visiting team needs to change their clothes in the visitors dugout in Surprise, Arizona because they aren't allowed to have the visiting team utalize the locker room????....is it true that "they" don't want any of the first year games televised or radio either?...this would be a great way to get league exposure to new fans....Anyone have any idea of where the additional 32 teams for expansion are going to be located? (newspaper article that ran this past Friday)...are there baseball people, people that know what's happening currently in the sport; not one's that were active in the 80's giving input to what the fans want???any more comments as to what your feeling is about the new league?...I hope that the new league makes it for the common baseball fan; but also the league may need to get some additional fan draws outside of Henderson...there's only a couple of guys that seem to be able to make an impact now and move back into professional baseball....I see that Chico's Ryan Lehr is having an outstanding first three weeks, hitting over .500 and he really impresses people with his other tools...I hope that he is signed soon to move up to the AAA level ....or, AA at the least.....why does the town of chico draw so well and cities like Long Beach Yuma ....now draw as well?

Please link to the article you refer to.

I've never heard of a league that banned radio and television, and I don't think the GBL thinks that... leagues do not invite media to broadcast, leagues have to sell themselves to media, and with this outfit, I strongly suspect the media aren't biting.

The WBL never really anchored themselves. Same thing here.
