What does it cost to acquire franchise rights to a FL team? Yearly operational costs?

Another thing to consider is starting a Southern Indy League. There are quite a number of Southern markets without minor league baseball... Albany (GA), Columbus, Macon, Anderson (SC), Hendersonville (NC) come to mind. It could be a low budget league along the lines of the Continental Baseball League. Just a thought...

Isn't that what Jamie Toole and his league was, filling in old Southern markets? I think there have been 4-5 attempts to do that over the past 10 years or so, none has had any success.

would be nice in the great lake area that wouldnt "sell " franchises , use existing facilities and bring baseball to markets that are still open in the area
