The website http://www.iblhoopsonline.com/IBLleagueSchedule.html stopped reporting game scores involving the Tacoma Thunder -- last two games.

Did those games take place?

The Thunder website has old news on it. Heaven forbid, did this team fold in midseason?

One thing for sure... the only records of anything in the Tacoma News-Tribune are the February 4 article announcing the team and a February 4 column offering a goodbye with the hello... theoretically (I'm not about to pay the $2 to see if the story matches the headline).

Evidentally, to get in the paper a second time, you need to do something a little drastic... like set up home games in the Art Museum or somesuch, kind of like how Terry Emmert uses his racquet club in Portland.

The Vancouver newspaper indicates a game, with a description to boot. Someone may be asleep in a couple cities regarding reporting to the league.

Like the National Indoor Football League it appears the IBL uses a manual process to update their standings.

Here's the differences I came up with thru Sunday, May 22nd:

iblhoopsonline:Tacoma (8-4)
me: Tacome (7-5)

iblhoopsonline: Portland (6-6)
me: Portland (7-5)

iblhoopsonline: Windy City (4-7)
me: Windy City (4-6)

I think Windy City's record was an adding error.

Also, I think the below score appearing on iblhoopsonline is wrong:
5/20/2005 Portland (135) vs. Tacoma (130)

I'm thinking if Tacoma is really 8-4, the score was recorded wrong (flipped-flopped) on the ibl website. Swap the scores.

I think the Windy City record is correct. The Jets were supposed to go on the road to play them and the venue fell through. I read in the paper that Windy City will forfeit that game, I guess they had an ownership change, and Dayton will be awarded the victory.

Dayton did not get an extra win in their win column based on the league's website for this game that fell through. Maybe that means the webmaster is overwhelmed with updating stats manually?
