Just a thought for Richmond...

As we go on and on about what the name of the new baseball team to Richmond should be... another option that probably will be tossed to the wayside is the Richmond Rebels.

The thought behind this is that:
1) it's easy to say
2) it represents the south
3) we are tend to be a state that doesn't like to conform

As much as like I'd like to know that this post will truly matter, I just figured I'd throw out my two cents.

Now that we know what the name will be, the Richmond Flying Squirrels, the name I thought would be too silly to work doesn't sound so bad after all. Since all North American possums are actually Virginia possums, I thought the name "Virginia Possums" would be good.
