French article today, for those who read and understand the language at:
lejournaldequebec.canoe.ca/journaldequebec/sports/lescapitales/archives/2009/10/20091008-153937.html
It basically says that the final 2010 lineup may not be known for a few weeks. Quebec, New Jersey, Sussex, Worcester and Brockton are definitely in. But where New Hampshire will end up is unknown. Trois-Rivieres is apparently not their destination. The Defenders have heard nothing from the city or business people since the game there August 24.
Ottawa looks good. Mr. Wolff has been in contact with the city and investors. He's confident it will work out.
As mentioned in this forum, Burlington has been told their stadium is not within standards set by the NY-PA league. No mention of what will happen there.
Pittsfield (I think that's in Mass.) is mentioned in the article as a city which wants a Can-Am team. As for Newark, nobody from that team has contacted Wolff.
Worcester has been sold to unknown investors from Maryland. Even Miles Wolff doesn't know their identity.
There will be six teams next year in the league for sure. But changes could happen even after Monday's league meeting.
