I know it's kind of off-topic, kinda not, so I posted it here...
I am doing a term paper on artificial turf and found this product called "GeoTurf" from Limonta Sport USA. They use an environmentally-friendly infill system that is supposedly cooler than the crumb-rubber infills from AstroTurf, FieldTurf, and others. Instead of recycled rubber, they use ground-up coconut shell fibers and cork. Also is lead-free, which is important as some fields may have some lead. Interesting idea if it works. I was wondering when somebody will come up with something that doesn't draw heat like rubber. If they take off watch other companies try to be as innovative.
