First and foremost, I would like to thank the league and the franchises for providing us with quality family entertainment. I know that you say, "without the fans, we are nothing" but we say without quality family entertainment, life is pretty boring.

Secondly, I would like to thank the Austin Turfcats. Thanks for coming in here and proving a quality game last night, and there isnt any reason that you should be down on yourselves. You were a big dog in the fight.

Third, THANKS to all of the Austin Fans that made the trip to come to the Smugglers Den and watch the game. I want to take this time to apologize for the Louisiana fans that were less than hospitable to you. Please dont let these dumbasses reflect upon the GOOD fans that we have here in Louisiana, there are good and bad everywhere.

Congratulations to the Swashbucklers players and coaching staff on their on Title run, Their defensive line dominated all game long.

This was the difference and and they deserve huge props.

Mace, After attending the media dinner upstairs I came over to your side of the field just before the game started and looked for you. I was asking everyone wearing a jersey if they were Mace and they thought I was crazy - lol. I spent the entire game over in the Austin bench area. Sorry I missed you. I think I did meet every inhospitable fan in the building though, many `Buc fans came up to us after the game and apologized, we know there are some great fans in Lake Charles but the hooligans ruin it for the classy fans.
I doubt I'll ever return to your venue though.
