Jersey/Phili Squires Update

The Squires returned to action last night (12/17/03) with a repeat performance against Juarez (the previous night Juarez won by 7). Last night wasn't much different as Juarez claimed another 7 point victory 121-114. Jersey/Phili returns to action Friday and Saturday night with two games at home agaisnt Coach Higgins and the Fresno Heatwave. In last nights game, Cleotis Brown led Jersey with another 30+ point performance.

Have you been at the Squires games? If so, where have they been played? Has anyone else been there? Do you have any idea where they might settle?

A story in a Mexican paper says the last game was played in Trenton.

Trenton was supposed to be their home in the first place, but they couldn't come to an agreement on the terms of a lease (surprise, surprise).

I know Saturday was played at Philadelphia University. Tuesday was at Neumann College, also in Philadelphia. I have no idea where Wednesday night's game was played, or where future games will be played. Because the league doesn't think you need to have that information.

But, hey, the NBA is using ABA players from the 1960's and 1970's in its marketing, and that's relevant to today's ABA because......
