Here is a piece I wrote on Pagan. I'll be reporting on the Cyclones for Examiner.com. Check out some of my stuff and let me know what you think!

Former Cyclone Pagan making impact with Mets (http://www.examiner.com/x-18102-Brooklyn-Cyclones-Examiner~y2009m7d23-Former-Cyclone-Pagan-making-impact-for-Mets)

Eight years ago, Angel Pagan was a raw 20-year-old outfielder that was the spark plug to the Brooklyn Cyclones’ 2001 New York-Penn League co-championship team, which came in the team’s inaugural season. Although the Puerto Rico-born Pagan was a terror on the base paths, stealing a league-leading 30 bases and hit a solid .315 for Brooklyn, Pagan was never a prized prospect, and never expected to be much more than a spare part of a major league roster.

Pagan is one of the few bright spots in Flushing these days. He was fun to watch as a youngster in Coney Island... glad to see him do well in place of Beltran.
