Does anybody know why the Crushers released pitcher Brad Davidson and outfielder Luke Hetherington?

What was also impressive about the win for the Crushers is that it came just hours after the team released outfielder Luke Hetherington. “The release is due to a violation of team policy,” said Massarelli.

I doubt if they would ever get into specifics as to why.

Davidson was cut on July 9th (1-1, 5.84 ERA). He was used for 3 starts
and 9 relief appearances. Maybe just a victim of the independent league
revolving door (The club also went to a four-man rotation right before the
all-star break.)
