Say goodbye to the Rage, Scorpions, and Blazers. The first two with attendance and financial problems, the last one wishes to land the Edmonton Oilers AHL franchise for the next preceding year. This should leave a lot of free agents available concerning five ECHL clubs folded as well during the past year.

At least the CHL is expanding with two clubs, Allen and Independence this upcoming year.... 09-10.....
